When you mention Diners Club International,® travel and cross-border purchasing power likely come to mind, but using the card locally is just as rewarding. To get the word out that acceptance is as strong “around the corner” as “around the globe,” Diners Club needed to provide franchise partners with messaging strategies that addressed common acceptance misconceptions—region by region. Based on a rich heritage in the innerworkings of payments networks, they turned to IMP-SF to establish the messaging and bring it to life through flexible campaign tactics.

After surveying cardmember acceptance misconceptions, we arrived at three distinct messaging strategies designed to elevate Diners Club cards to top-of-wallet status for everyday local purchases. For each messaging strategy, we executed two highly customizable campaigns that included everything from out-of-home to social media. To make campaign deployment as seamless as possible, we created a robust, turnkey Acceptance Messaging Toolkit for use by issuers around the globe.
